8 OCTOBER 2017 IS NOT AN ORDINARY DAY. IT’S THE DAY OF PRIDE WITH LOVE…

GREETINGS ON INDIAN AIR FORCE DAY

The selfless people are the saviors of our lives. They help us to move freely in our country and also make us pride on their commitment and love they showcase for us. With their heart, they work for us…. We salute to their love and concern in spite of we hardly know each other.

This 2017 also made this day more special as we are celebrating the Karwachauth: The fast for long-lasting commitment. While seeing these two special occasions, I revived one of my school time memory turning a love story. This episode made me believe in love and commitment.

I had a classmate when I was in 5th standard. He uses to fast on the Karwachauth and for this other classmate and some females too bully him and ask:

HE IS A BOY AND HE FASTS IN SUCH A SMALL AGE? ISN’T IT ODD?

He always replied:

IT’S NOT FOR MUMMY ONLY BUT MY FATHER ALSO FASTS FOR HER LIFE, SO I DO….

His parents always told him about the commitment and dedication which made him one of his kinds. After metric, he aspires to be in INDIAN AIR FORCE TO SERVE THE NATION. This attitude of commitment and dedication paid him to be the part of INDIAN ARMY as a Pilot. After some time he got married.

He had orders to report, a few days before his First Karwachauth. He left her and her wife too halfheartedly. On Karwachauth she fasted for him as if he was with him. Her traditional outlook was waiting for him. Suddenly by 8 o’clock, the doorbell rang and she ran in all excitement like he will be on the door. But unfortunately, his friend and his wife were on the door to congratulate on her First Karwachauth. She was heartbroken and woeful. After sometime they left The Moon arrived but her Moon was not there. She went on the roof to open her fast.

 To her surprise, someone was waiting there to open their fast. The second surprise to her was he was also fasting for last 10-15 years for her Dream Girl. This episode made me feel of true love. They love with the same intensity.

IT’S NOT ABOUT GENDER BUT OUR COMMITMENT, DEVOTION AND ALLEGIANCE.

Fasting is not to show our love or concern, but to realize the value.

KARWACHAUTH IS NOT ABOUT A FEMININE THING.

If she is female it doesn’t mean only SHE WILL COMPROMISE AND OBEY THE NORMS OF SOCIETY BUT IT’S EQUALLY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF MAN.

LOVE IS THE LIGHT THAT IGNITES THE SOUL.

KARWACHAUTH IS NOT ABOUT LONG LASTING LIFE BUT THE LIFELONG DEVOTION.

Doesn’t be the victim of that mentality which says PINK IS FOR GIRLS, AND BLUE IS FOR BOYS…… DOLLS ARE FOR GIRLS AND TOYS ARE FOR BOYS….. Because only because of this thinking is not letting us grow and explore.

TO HAVE RESPECT, LEARN TO GIVE RESPECT.

Be pride, not proud Many a times, I saw that people make their pride their proud and then the whole story changes. They don’t work for their self content rather put their efforts for materialistic pleasures. They simply want to show what they can do just to display to other people and start to depose their energies to please others. Yes it is equally true that it’s not possible to demarcate the thin lines difference between two i.e. “ Pride “ and “ Proud “, but it doesn’t mean that we did not try to understand and analyze our flaws.
