THROW IT AWAY

"Son, if you ate chips, then throw the empty packet in the bin." Said the mother. The son stood and threw the empty packet in the bin. Mother instruced the son that if he put the garbage in the bin then the house will look clean and we all feel positive and also his small efforts will his mother in the routine matters as well. She imparts some good moral values in him so he will have a good family life. 


After a few days, the family planned a picnic on weekends with their friends. While on their way everyone was enjoying the beats of the music in the car along with some snacks. The kid ate chips and asked his mother "Mummy there is no bin, where should I throw this empty packet." Then the mother took the packet and threw it out of the running car. Suddenly the kid asked mother, "Don't you think this is not good." Mother asked about what he was talking about? The son replied, "Mummy if we keep our house clean, why not our outdoors and city. It's not good. Papa please take back the car I will pick the packet and will throw in the bin only." 


The father stopped the car and drive to the same location where the packet was thrown. The kid asked to find the packet but what he found is a lot of empty packets were thrown on the road side and some stray animals were eating plastic bags. He questioned innocently, "Papa, are these plastic bags the food of these stray animals. Plastic bags harms them or not?"


The father replied, "Its not their food. We are responsible for their death as well, most of the times, as we throw these plastic bags, least bothering that we are making the nation dirty and also providing chemical based plastic bags to the stray animals. We must be ashamed of our deeds. Son, now onwards we will keep a bag in the car and throw all the garbage in that." "We will keep the nation clean."


We must be ashamed of ourselves that we throw the garbage on streets, roadsides while driving whereas we can't bare a piece of spare paper in our house if it's useless. Yea, I agree that there are not bins on roadsides but we can carry them in bags and after reaching our destination can throw it away. These are not only hazardous to stray animals but also to us, as many a times this causes accidents. If you still think you can clean you indoors, ignoring outdoors, then throw this thinking in the bin. GO GREEN, BE SAFE.
