That Night🌙

SOME NIGHTS ARE THE DAWN OF YOUR LIFE, THEY BRIGHT YOU, ENLIGHTEN YOU. YOU GET THE TRUE SENSE OF BELONGING TOWARDS YOUR SURROUNDINGS. I always experienced the petty things are often neglected and underestimated till we realize the value. It’s easy to keep arrogance over concern, haughtiness over humble. With the time we are not grown up but are ripen by the thoughts of modest. Nothing profound happened but a routine matter of monsoon nights. I was roaming at the roof talking to myself, when suddenly I heard a mysterious voice of someone filled with sweetness of love. The dim rays of the Moon were talking to the politeness and innocence of the earth.

The earth was saying to the moon “YOUR POLITE, CALM AND COLD RAYS AT NIGHT SOOTHES MY SURFACE AND IN MORNING SUN GIVE ME WARMTH OF THE NATURE. ONLY YOU TWO MADE ME A DREAM PLACE TO LIVE.”

Then the Moon asked “WHAT ABOUT THE HUMAN LIVING ON YOU, USES YOUR SURFACE. DON’T THEY PAY YOU BACK IN RETURN?”

The earth smiled and replied “YES, THEY GIVE BACK A LOT.”

The Moon took a sigh of relief and said “THANK GOD! THEY ARE ALSO PLANNING TO COME TO ESTABLISH THEM. SO CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THEY GIVE IN RETURN?”

The Earth was frightened and told the reality “DON’T LET THEM SPOIL YOUR BEAUTY. THEY WILL RUIN YOU. LET ME TELL YOU FIRST WHAT I GIVE AND WHAT I GET IN RETURN. I GAVE THEM TREES, THEY RETURNED THE POLLUTION, I GAVE THEM WATER, AND THEY MADE IT SEA FOOD, THEIR BATHING WASHING PLACE. IF I GAVE THEM AIR, THEY GAVE SMOG. THEY MODIFIED EVERYTHING TO MAKE THEM COMFORTABLE."

The Moon was Stunned and said ‘THE HUMAN RACE IS WISE ENOUGH THAT’S WHY THEY REACHED ON ME, TOOK MY SAMPLE. I THOUGHT THEY ARE GENIUS AS THEY HAVE THE POWER TO DO ANYTHING AND CAN MAKE EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. EVERYTHING WHICH IS BEYOND IMAGINATION. ISN’T IT?”

“I FULLY AGREE THEY HAVE TREMENDOUS POWERS TO DO. THEY CUT TREES TO MAKE FURNITURE, DOORS, THEY CAN KILL ANIMALS TO SELL THEIR FLESH AND BODY PARTS AND ALSO TO EAT THEM WITH A DEEP FRY, THEY CAN USE MY SAND, HERBS TO USE AS COSMETICS TO LOOK MORE GLORIFIED AND A LOT MORE. WITHOUT THINKING FOR A MOMENT IF THEY FEEL SOMETHING CAN GIVE THEM COMFORT, THEY WILL USE WITHOUT HESITATING AND RUIN IT.” The Earth replied.

The earth, the Moon and I were silent. We don’t have words to express what we felt that time. The Earth has the same status of female in our society. She is considered to be born to compromise, exploited, and molested but to be kept quite. The Moon is unfeminine so it took a lot of time to reach there. If he talks to earth is okay. But when she shares the pain is not okay. He has all the power but to endure only. She will be considered as MOTHER EARTH, who will cook, care and nourish but when she is sick, no one will bother. RESPECT THE POWER OF FEMININE, RESPECT EARTH BEFORE SHE WILL DESTROY YOU AS YOU DO.
