Cupcakes

“I love to have sweets, candies, cakes and a lot more…… I simply love them. So gift all of these my coming birthday.” Said the grandfather to Sarovar, and Sarover nodded her head in a “Big Yes.” The selfless love of Sarovar’s grandfather was a dream of many. Sarovar left him in the old age home, where she was hiding her tears, the smile of him was making the moment worth living. The emotions on both sides were unuttered.

Sarovar was upset with her parents for letting her best friend into an old age home alone. How could she contact him often to discuss her worries? She was only 5 years old when she lost her first best friend. She tried her best to stop her parents from doing this, but they didn’t agree to. Initially, they often visit to meet him but then they started ignoring. After a few months, Sarovar asked her mother to help her to cook a cake for her birthday. Her mother to the surprise was happy that Sarovar has started taking the keen interest in some household chores and appreciated her.

One day when her mother and father returned home, Sarover offered some cupcakes to them. They were astonished and picked one cupcake each. Then Sarovar stopped them and reminded that today is her grandfather’s birthday so she stopped them, and said when I will send you in another home of elderly people I will make these cupcakes for you both too and forced them to take all cupcakes to the old age home. Her parents were behaving normal but from within they were in the mixed feeling of guilt and anger.

On reaching old age home, Sarovar hugged her grandfather and offered him a cupcake. She was so happy when she offered all members the cupcakes and everyone congratulated for her mouthwatering cupcakes. They all celebrated the birthday with lots of cupcakes, candies prepared by her. This was the best birthday gift to her grandfather and in return, she got a lot of wishes for a beautiful and successful life ahead.

After reaching home, when Sarovar and her parents ate the remaining cupcakes, they realized not only the cupcakes were hard but also were tasteless. Next day they went old age home and Sarovar cried and complaint her grandfather that if cupcakes were not worth eating, then why he and his oldie friends appreciated her. He answered, the cupcakes were full of the sweetness of your pure heart and cosiness of your love and concern for us, made those cupcakes the perfect ones, we not only ate with all our heart but also felt them to our soul. And hugged, thank her to make him feel so special among his friends.

Sometimes in life what matters is a good full heart to make the worst worth living. Otherwise, we always have a lot of complaints surrounding us, but what matters is our intention to feel the good in every possible way. If we feel the sweetness of deeds, it will always feed our soul in the contended way.
