Note to Self
“I want a perfect life to make my life worth living. A life with all possibilities and zero grudges. This is what I will owe after my graduation.” Saharini told Sangeeta, of course, a best friend who always proved to be a friend in need. Where the best friends were aiming high for their lives, Vasu came and asked Sangeeta if she could give her notes for the Photostat. She agreed and handed over the notes to Vasu, in the meantime the tone and expressions of Saharini changed and she asked Sangeeta that she promised her to give her the notes than how dare she to give notes to Vasu.
The friendship of years was in imprison of arguments, where Sangeeta was trying to protect the relation, the arrogant behaviour of Saharini was ruining it for no reason. Sometimes, we react to the minor things and lose what we owe. After some time, Sangeeta went to Saharini to tell her that Vasu was in more need of notes due to her crisis in the family. But Saharini was not in the mood to understand anyone or anything. And the end days of graduation proves to be the end days of visible deep-rooted friendship.
The time passed by when one day Sangeeta witnessed some old pictures of them in an album. She tried again to contact Saharini, despite both are strangers now, Sangeeta realized that in the path of life it never matters how long one remains, what matters how beautifully you spent the time. Over a cup of coffee, both met after so long. Both were smiling on the strange time of togetherness and separation. Both laughed, discussed, smiled, cried and in end became the buddies of life, not just like before, but like many others in their lives.
That day Sangeeta wrote a note to self, “I always thought you always need to compromise to save a relation, you have to be strong enough every single time to forgive and forget, but what if to save everything around us we lose our worth? It never mattered for others, what you did for them but what matters what they feel like only. So I would love to save the bond of me with myself only the most. No one ever could decide what I feel like. I will live the way I am blessed by almighty.”
We all had faced the situation like this in one or the other way, but never ever forget to love yourself, prioritise your deeds, value your thoughts, because only this makes you what you are.
Very thoughtful
